McCarthy autobabes.com.au Lynne“ i I’m not a model; I’m just Lynne! But I’d like to inspire models to embrace their curves & imperfections! autobabes.com.au t ’s always great for us to see the girls that we feature and celebrate, go on to accomplish more and do well in their chosen fields. Whether this is in various types of Modelling and it’s derivatives, Education, Relationship and Families or anything else that they may desire, it’s always very rewarding for us. That’s especially true when it comes to our Edition 86 Feature Model, stunning Lynne McCarthy from South Africa. Lynne first appeared in our magazine in the early days with Edition 21. Since then, she’s been incredibly busy; you see Lynne has the ability to combine her intelligence and her beauty to achieve her growth. In her home town of Pretoria in South Africa, she manages her own eCommerce business called WhoCanForget.com, as well as providing marketing consultation services with her business LynneMcCarthy.com, and also finds time to run her non-profit charity foundation Angels Hands SA which she has done for the past two decades. And of course, she also enjoys success in being a model, and has a refreshing view on that also; “I am not a model, I am just Lynne!”, she says ... “I think I’m quite down to earth and sport no make up and a pony tail on weekends, and modeling just turned out to be a means of paying bills and travel the world”, she continues. “I don’t think of myself as a model, but I do want to inspire young girls to embrace their curvy bodies & `imperfections’.“ Lynne has a mature attitude to her lifestyle in general, but especially her modeling. “I take more pride in my loving and caring nature and emotional and intellectual growth”, she says. And we know that since her last feature in Autobabes, she has completed a P.hd in metaphysics and philosophy. That’s impressive in any situation however in this case, Lynne is breaking all stereotypes associated with models past and present. “I’ve used my fame to share my platform with concerns such as my charity, the plight of animals and the welfare of the elderly in our community” . Quite inspirational indeed. Whilst we’re talking about inspiration, it’s important also to acknowledge her modeling credentials as well; Lynne held the title of Miss Houston Texas, as well as titles such as Miss Pretoria, Miss Johannesburg, runner up Miss South Africa, etc. She has been published in various glossy and fashion magazines across the world, walked runways in America, Europe and South Africa and has enjoyed a successful acting career, with appearances in `soaps’ such as “EGOLI, Isidingo“, presenting “Travelling Africa” and international movie ”Children of fire”. Quite a varied set of experience that shows Lynne’s diversity and ability to do many things and to do them well. Lynne’s work has taken her to many countries which she has enjoyed as the art of travel is something that she has also learned to master. “I love travelling and with my acting and modelling career, I’ve travelled quite a bit, but at the same time, not enough!”, she continues “No university can teach you what travelling does, and I would still love to vacation and maybe start a new life in Italy, Greece, Germany & France.” And she drops perhaps a hint to her future; “I’ve always believed that my future husband would be a foreigner, given the amount of travel I do and how passionate I am about it”, she smiles Perhaps he’ll be Australian!?autobabes.com.auautobabes.com.auautobabes.com.au “ As a hobby, I like to work as a private Chef, & very excited to be publishing my first Guest CookBook! Speaking of passion however, and Lynne certainly has that in spades, she tells us that her life’s passion has a spiritual connotation; “My passion in life is to give and make a difference by doing so. There is so much joy in giving, whether it is love, care, material things or empathy. I love doing charity work and I believe when you are well known and popular, you should stand next to a good cause, so that the light that is shining over you, is shared with a cause in need of publicity”. An admirable attitude and one that is also shared by some of the best models in the industry. Lynne seems to know her cars also; “My favourite car is the 2020 Bentley continental GT for its class and performance!”, she says. “It’s synonymous with speed and style and easily one of my top 3 my dream cars!”. Very nice! “If I were a car though, I’d be a 2020 Maserati Edizione Ribelle series!”, she says right away .. “It’s Limited Edition, tough but classy; sensitive & demands respect!” Indeed it does. But like all of us, Lynne’s sophistication with cars began quite humble; “My first car was BMW held together with hair-grips LOL”, she laughs In relationships, Lynne has well developed views; “I would have to stick to the stereotypical tall, dark and handsome types, however I’m a true sapiosexual and believe a kind heart remains whilst looks fade over years”. Lynne is quite tall at 5”9’ so height is important to her, but so too old school values and morals; “A shy guy is always a turn-on for me as a loud mouth is so unattractive”, she confides. “I take pride in my morals and values, and only become intimate with someone once we are committed to each other. I’ve never been married and wish I had saved myself for marriage”. “I studied psychology and can spot a player a mile away, so good manners is always a win in my books. Guys should also remember that a lady wants to feel safe and when a hero comes to a girl’s rescue, the rest is a walk in the park”. “I’m still single and have been for over a year now, and although happy, I’m open to a ‘superman’. People constantly ask me why I’m single; It is not that there is little interest from the opposite sex, or that I have unattainable standards or expectations, but rather the scarcity of honourable & genuinely altruistic people out there. I always joke around and say that men are like parking bays: the best are taken and the rest are “paraplegic”. Some guys are intimidated by the actress/model stardom and few get to learn that I’m down to earth and a genuine type of person, but the power of intention has been set and I have elected to not marry the wrong person but wait patiently on God and the universe to deliver MrRightForMe to me”. “All of us should own up to our actions and every action has a reaction, but also a deep underlying reason for such action! I have been single since my birthday in November last year and refuse to jump from one man’s arms to the next”. “My male friends say that I intimidate guys and I suppose that there is immense truth in that, but isn’t what most guys want an attractive, intelligent, friendly, honest, loving, monogamous, down to earth, cultured, etc kind of adult lady? “ “There are still honourable people in this world, be they few so when you find them hold onto them tightly and take care of them...maybe most have just given up on mankind all together and will forever judge the book by its cover. Society and stereotypes have conditioned most of us to always see the glass half empty, even when its 3/4 full. Scepticism is such a cruel and unrewarding attitude. How many times have I heard: ‘You are too good to be true, and normally when it seems too good to be true, its not. What’s your catch?’ Scepticism again. Where is the love, hope and faith in the human spirit? Out with the microwave and simple carbs? I, myself, am guilty of this, hence my single status. But by choice, not because of scepticism. The choice, not to be deceived, but because I believe there are still honourable guys out there, that can and will reciprocate what I offer in my relationships, hoping in each, that they are The One”. “I think I make a very good point about society losing faith in people. I also think that’s what the world has become. Sad but true. People now rather focus on autobabes.com.auautobabes.com.au “ My passion in life is to give, and to make a difference by doing so. There is so much joy in giving ...“ autobabes.com.au If I had a Superpower, it would be Time Travel, so that I could erase all wrongs the world has had to endure!autobabes.com.auNext >
