< Previous>on the wire Find us on Instagram @autobabesMagazine It’s quite common to hear applause generated for an encore performance at most entertainment events that have pleased an audience. In all cases of course, the audience request is met and the entertainer re-appears after having left the stage for a period of time. It is probably one of the greatest compliments that an audience can give to the entertainer in communicating to them that they enjoyed the performance and want to see more. So it’s interesting that this isn’t seen in wider entertainment areas outside of the normal stage performances and appearances. In the glamour modelling world for instance, the closest a model can get to requests for encore maybe for those models that also work as exotic dancers. It’s rarely seen that photographic models are given opportunity for a repeat performance or for an encore appearance. For the dancers at most of the industry clubs, it’s easy to re-appear when the audience calls for more. In magazines it’s not so common although in our case, we have many girls that re-appear sometimes three times. In the case of Larissa Bartolo for example, first being discovered as a young 18yr old model in 2009, a feature appearances in Edition 21 helped her get started in her modelling and photographic career, as well as giving our audience a taste of her fun personality and gorgeous good looks - although it was cute that she was quite self conscious of her braces at the time. Larissa appeared once more in the Cleopatra themed Edition in Edition 38 in 2011, and then of course returned to grace the cover of Edition 55 - The California Dream Edition. In between her appearances in our magazine, we also showcased and promoted Larissa’s journey with Playboy Plus which, for those who read our interviews and actually know her, know that was her dream and the inspiration behind the California Dream Edition itself. All the way through her career with us, there were always calls for `More Larissa’! And so we presented her in encore twice. So this edition, is dedicated to those models that have appeared ONCE before, and are making an encore appearance with Edition 66 - an aptly timed edition as double like digits implies en encore or a double up in itself. Of course in these times of Social Media and growing social networks, models have their own platforms to showcase their glamour to their fans and to respond in any way they like. There is an art to an encore though, and it’s not only about a repeat appearance but a strategy of that repeat appearance. In other words, the choice of how to present yourself at the encore appearance is very important. The encore needs to be in theme of the appearance that an encore is asked for, and it needs to be at least as good if not better than the appearance just past. It needs to leave the audience wanting more so that of course they continue to follow you, and it needs to satisfy enough of their craving to leave them positive. At the moment, the best demonstration of perfect encore, is another of our two appearance models, Amy Lee Summers who also appeared in Edition 55 as well as the cover of Edition 59. Amy’s follow-up has been superb in response to her audience. Amy’s photo is opposite and there are more girls overleaf that have also done the same. You may recall Viviana’s appearance on the cover of Edition 62, and the beautiful photos provided by her team. She now returns to our cover with another gorgeous lingerie and swimsuit set. Viviana’s background in modelling began from the very beginning of her existence. Her father Sergio Soldano was a world famous fashion designer to the world’s top models and actresses, and her mother was a fashion model. When her sister also became a model, Viviana was exposed to an industry that she wanted to be involved in. “ I started modelling at a very young age.”, she says “I then decided to get into fitness modelling and moved to the USA when I was 12 to enter into competitions in fitness”. Viviana’s life has been dedicated to her modelling; fitness / glamour and fashion and as you would expect, she has done quite well at both. She has fitness competition wins that went all the way to national level when she realized she had gone far enough. “ It was a great experience, but not what I really wanted to be”, she says. “ I wanted to keep my feminine image and didn’t want to be doing drugs in order to become a professional competitor. I wanted to continue my modelling and keep my feminine look rather than build too much more muscle”. “ I think because I was surrounded by models from an early age because my father was a world famous fashion designer, it was really in my blood and I needed to be a part of it!” “ Modelling was my #1 goal! I love being in front of the camera to express my emotions and feelings!” “As I got older, I also developed a passion for dogs and in particular saving dogs!” Viviana started her dog foundation in 2014 and started I’m definitely the Hostess with the Mostess - the secret is that I’m having as much fun as the guests are :) !
